NEW & NOTEWORTHY Final 401(k) and 401(m) Regulations, EGTRRA Certification, and Pension Protection Act vesting amendment mailing During the second week of November, AIG VALIC mailed information and related amendments that address the regulatory requirements and deadlines under the Final 401(k) and 401(m) regulations, EGTRRA, and the minimum vesting requirements changes under the recent Pension Protection Act. This mailing was sent to all qualified plans and all 403(b) plans with matching contributions, after-tax employee contributions, and / or employer non-elective contributions currently using a VALIC plan document.
