STEP 2 Application & Assessment

Each applicant is asked to enter resume information, submit an application form, and take an aptitude test.
Those who have passed the paper screening and aptitude test will be informed of the next step.

The R&D staff who engage in development work mainly under our corporate functions (Innovative Technology Laboratories, Materials Integration Laboratories, and Production Technology Division) are striving to develop AGC’s future key products. They are responsible for conducting foundational research on products that do not yet exist as well as developing new products and production processes to establish the core technology that plays a central role in AGC’s business. The scope of the work is broad, with the R&D staff proactively exploring beyond the realms of glass, chemicals, and electronics. In addition to materials and product development, and adoption of new technologies within the laboratories, they also conduct interviews and marketing activities to potential customers.

Production Control

The production control staff are responsible for production control mainly at the Automotive Company. Based on our customer needs, they develop, propose, and oversee the product production and distribution plans.
An important skill is the ability to see things from both a macro and micro perspective. In order to develop a good production plan, one must have a bird’s-eye view of the entire business to fully grasp the production status of the plants while also understanding the operation status of multiple production sites. As technicians, they engage in a wide range of works to manage the supply chain of AGC’s automotive glass business.
