AGC Announces Transfer of infoverreTM Glass Signage Business
AGC (AGC Inc., Headquarters: Tokyo; President: Yoshinori Hirai) hereby announces that it has agreed to transfer its infoverreTM glass signage business to DISIGN, Incorporated (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; President: Yan Takatani) on December 31, 2021.
The AGC Group launched infoverreTM in 2015, initially introducing it at buildings and retail outlets to feature its visibility and design. In recent years, the technology has also been adopted for use in railroad cars and station buildings, taking advantage of its thinness and lightness.
Following a series of discussions regarding future business development, the AGC Group concluded that transferring the business to DISIGN, which has a long track record in the industrial display business such as railway and public transportation, and operating the business under DISIGN would contribute to the future growth of the business and led to the conclusion of this agreement.
The AGC Group would like to express its gratitude to all customers and stakeholders for their patronage and support of infoverreTM until now.
