OFC2025

AGC to showcase innovative solutions at the premier global event for optical communications in Moscone Center.

In recent years, the evolution of artificial intelligence using AI servers and the growing demand for data storage through data centers have dramatically increased data communication volumes. Traditional communication systems using pluggable transceivers transmit electrical signals from the ends of the boards, and the increase in power consumption has become a significant issue. Against this backdrop, there is growing anticipation for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), which routes optical wiring on the board.

AGC possesses materials with low electrical and optical loss, such as glass and fluorine-based materials, and leverages processing technologies developed through its experience with optical components to develop and propose various solutions such as optical waveguides and lens arrays suitable for CPO applications. In particular, for polymer optical waveguides, we provide a white paper to the OFC.
