AGC Receives “Supplier Award 2026” from ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology
AGC (AGC Inc., Headquarters: Tokyo; President: Yoshinori Hirai) has received the “Supplier Award 2026” from ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (Headquarters: Oberkochen, Germany; hereinafter “ZEISS SMT”), a leading technology company in the optical and optoelectronic industry and supplier of key components for the production of microchips, in recognition of its performance in fiscal year 2024/25.
The “Supplier Award” is regarded as an important recognition presented by ZEISS SMT to suppliers that have demonstrated outstanding performance among its global suppliers in the relevant year. This marks AGC’s third time receiving the award, following previous recognitions in 2009 and 2020.

Dr. Thomas Stammler, Chief Technology Officer of ZEISS SMT, presents the Supplier Award 2026 to AGC.
The AGC Group supplies optical glass and ceramics for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, to ZEISS SMT. In addition to strengthening its supply system in response to growing demand, AGC has achieved stable supply of high-quality products. Through these efforts, AGC has been recognized for its outstanding performance as a supplier and its long-standing, stable partnership, leading to this award.
Under its mid-term management plan, AGC plus-2026, the AGC Group positions its Electronics and Performance Chemicals businesses, including semiconductor-related materials, as strategic businesses*. Going forward, AGC will continue to contribute to the further development of the semiconductor industry through its proprietary materials and solutions, while aiming to enhance sustainable corporate value.
