AGC (Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.) is selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) that is one of the major indexes for Socially Responsible Investment (SRI).

DJSI was the SRI index created jointly by Dow Jones in United States and Sustainability Asset Management (SAM) in Switzerland. Forementioned organization analyzes the world's largest 2500 companies on its corporate economic, environmental and social performance thoroughly once a year and the top 10% of the sustainability leaders in each DJSI sector are selected for the DJSI World. In September 2011, 342 companies including 25 Japanese companies are selected for the DJSI World and AGC is also selected as the sustainability company.
