With the industry’s highest Young’s modulus, low thermal shrinkage, and versatility suitable for all panel sizes—from small to large—, this display panel glass contributes to improving the performance and productivity for ultra-high-resolution, high-refresh-rate panels.

Applications

  • Substrate for TFT-LCD Display
  • Substrate for OLED Display

The adoption of ultra-high-definition, large-screen panels known as 8K in large displays such as TVs and digital signage, and as well as high-definition, high-speed panels in medium-sized displays such as gaming monitors and notebook PCs, has been expanding in recent years.
In the manufacturing processes of these display panels, advancements such as the thickening of metal films and the adoption of oxide semiconductor*1 TFT processes have led to higher temperatures. As a result, the glass substrates are required to suppress warping caused by the stress of metal films (higher Young’s modulus) and show minimal shrinkage during heat treatment.

In response to these market changes, AGC has developed “AN Rezosta®” to enhance both the performance and productivity for ultra-high-definition and high-refresh-rate panels.

‘AN Rezosta®’ ,featuring with the industry's highest Young's modulus of 85GPa, low thermal shrinkage, and versatility suitable for all panel sizes from small to large, contributes to improving the performance and productivity of its customer's ultra-high-resolution, high-refresh-rate panels.
