Aichi Plant

Aichi Plant

Automotive glass production began in 1967 at the Toyota Plant in Toyota City, and in 1970 a plant was built in Taketoyo-cho on the Chita Peninsula, where the Toyoda Works was integrated into the Aichi Plant. Since then, as an integrated plant producing everything from flat glass to automotive safety glass in the Chubu region, the heart of Japan's automotive industry, the plant has delivered the high-function products demanded by the times.
