Sagami Plant
The Sagami Plant started operation in 1972 as a general manufacturing factory for automotive safety glass intended for vehicle manufacturers in the Kanto District. This cylindrical equipment with a large semispherical door is an autoclave, which layers film between two fabricated plates of glass, moves it into the cylindrical autoclave and applies high pressure for adhesion.
